About Airshoppen Travel Retail
Airshoppen Travel Retail has for more than 40 years delivered tax-free to our guests on board and via the online concept Airshoppen.com. The customers are Nordic airlines and tour operators who fly more than 3.8 million guests around the world every year. Our headquarters is situated at Copenhagen Airport and we have a logistics center in Landskrona in Sweden.
Working with us
In Airshoppen Travel Retail we believe that the major difference we can make for your business, stems from the pool of talent we have created in our team. We are individuals with all kinds of background, but often individuals that has vast experience within retail, marketing, finance, technology, sourcing, production, or supply chain.
We try to bring together individuals from all kinds of industries, to ensure that we take the best learnings from whatever that individual brings to the table. We are an international team, and have a lot of nationalities and cultural backgrounds represented in our team.
We believe in talent – and as part of our HR agenda, we have a development program, where many of our leaders have started i.e. packing goods during their youth or studies, but with the right combination of education and exposure to challenging job tasks – they are developed to strong leaders and individuals in our organization.
We have positions for any level and capacity and enjoy working with such a broad spectrum of individuals.
Airshoppen Travel Retail collaborates with many other departments in the company, e.g. we work closely with crew department, as a large part of the service that we provide by through Airshoppen affects crew's daily work.
Airshoppen consist of
- The tax-free shop, which is the world's largest in terms of revenue per guest
- A marketing function to support sales
- Our own finance function that handles large sums (especially from tax-free sales)
- Order recepients who make sure to register all the many tax-free orders that come from our guests
- Central warehouse with a large team of employees who get the pre-ordered goods packed and shipped to our aircraft.
- Our own Customer Center
- Service products on-board
Our Business
With Scandinavian roots, we are working with our suppliers to deliver uniqueness and great choice of products for their end users, and for our B2B clients to strengthen their customer experience, and ultimately their financial result.
Combing advanced solutions within e-Commerce and technology, we add that human factor that only an experience retail team can deliver.
We focus on helping our clients interact with their customers at the right time with the right media, and thrive to deliver a tailor-made solution that benefit both from our experience and volume as a leading travel retailer, but also ensures that each B2B customer have that uniqueness that their business is looking for.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We believe and invest heavily in our future. In order for us to take control over our CSR agenda, we separate what we can do internally and which requirements we have towards our external suppliers.
In our internal sustainability approach, we focus on:
- Production and transports
- Paper consumptions
- Plastic consumption
- Weight
- Suppliers
Our approach when it comes to our external suppliers are for us naturally. All suppliers must sign up to a number of requirements, including labour, before they are even considered.
Together with the requirements we are in dialogue with our suppliers, to minimize our climate footprint. Based on the change in demand of climate-friendly and new improvements within logistics, we are nudging our external suppliers to work as sustainability as possible.

Ownership
Strawberry Group, TDR capital and Altor Funds are the three shareholders that owns Nordic Leisure Travel Group (NLTG) where we, Airshoppen Travel Retail, are an independent company.
